It isn’t a question we should ask. Follow me...

The reason you are asking is because you want to go on a spending spree. You want to go buy shiny new items because you inherited some money.

Stop thinking like this. Instead, go shopping at a thrift store. Find the bargains because they exist. And then, if you find something you really want, that really is surprising it is even on the market, then you can spend a little extra.

Wherever you go shopping - at the high end stores or the thrift stores, you still gotta know your budget.

Difference in budget and surplus. You can bust a budget. You can’t bust the cap.

Your post doesn't make sense, especially the beginning " Difference in budget and surplus."

Do you mean, "There's a difference between budget and surplus?" Easiest = laziest, after all.

Like I said. You don’t understand English.

Henry has been tagged, i don't know the status of Hooper, is it wrong I'd prefer Hayden Hurst or Njoku instead of spending on a TE FA.

I would go for Hollister or Blake Jarwin.

Not familiar with them, but i trust they must have potential if you're ok with adding them.
Ill look them up

hollister is a RFA so he isnt in play

jarwin is better then any TE we have on the roster . hehasnt hadmuch of a chance in dallas

he is at least a viable BU

We can still sign him but Seattle would have to match the offer. With the signing of Olsen and the expected signing of Jordan Reed, we can get him if we want. If not, we can always offer a 7th rounder for him. He is a great player.

Well, now minus 16 million.

Redskins place franchise tag on Pro Bowl guard Brandon Scherff
35 minutes ago · It is of the non-exclusive variety, meaning that another team could give Washington two first-round picks

I just don't agree with it. We are trading time for money. Tagged players seldom return to the team tagging them.

Unless we HONESTLY think a deal will get done, it makes sense.

I will continue to say this over and over again, Scherff does not want to be here. We have been trying for over 6 months to get a deal done under 2 regimes now. I do not blame him....we are arguably the worst team in the NFL.

I wish we would let him walk and use that cap room on healthy players who want to be here. 16 million is an absurd amount to pay a Guard. I like him a lot but after 9 months of negociating with 2 different regimes, its obvious he wants to go.

I would have gone after Thueny or Glasgow.

We need more cap room. So far, I am not understanding with Rivera and crew are doing. Its VERY early and everything starts on Monday but the TW situation, Kerrigan situation and Scherff tag are not looking good for the team. There again, things could change in 48 hours...we do not know.

I'm taking a wait and see position, but you're right in declaring that thus far it appears to be the same old same old in Ashburn.

To me they have to openly admit that they are in the midst of a total rebuild, act accordingly and go strong in trading for draft assets, and acquiring young talent in free agency.

Let that young team grow together and become a force for a long run towards greatness.
