Where does Frank Martin Rank Among Current Coaches?

Is it just me or does Frank Martin look like someone who climbed into a time machine back in 1975 and wound up in the future? He seems very old school. I like the vibe he gives off.

I don't care for that particular aspect of his character. He strikes me as a bully, beating up on young kids verbally and mentally. I've heard him compared to Bo Pelini, and I have made the same comparison myself. I wasn't sure what to think when SC went out and hired him away from K-State.

It's the same reason I didn't care for Knight at Indiana...but, guys who played for Knight or Martin all seem to have loved playing for them, and certainly it helps when you're winning. We'll see if he can continue this level of success.

He's nowhere near what I want to see in a Coach. But he's on a Four game win streak.

Now he just needs to not do any murderin for just over a week.

Taking a program like SCAR to the elite 8 with a less than crazy shot at a final four seems to merit a thread for him.

Well he certainly learned NOT to give his players the day before a game off in practice

He's one scary dude.... I don't think it makes his a great but he does deserve kudos
