Went out a got a brisket yesterday and finished making up some corned beef. Loaf a light rye and todays the day for a killa sammy. Going to add a lil' cole slaw on top for some "crunch" appeal as well.

-4.5 lb brisket
-1 packet of herbs

Fill pot on stovetop with water 1" above meat. Add herb packet. Bring water to boil and then turn down heat and simmer for 1 hour per pound or to desired tenderness.

Wifey made a hunk of corned beef for St Patty's Day and the leftover sandwiches were fantastic. I may reorder one of those....

^ Tasty aint it Juice...saw a "Diners, Drive-in and Dives" show over this weekend, Guy F went to a place where the chef prepped a chunk of pastrami to die for...that and corned beef are really good.
