Yeah, just went through a nasty divorce and an even nastier custody ordeal. It all got sorted the best way I could hope for, but it was a stressful three months. To make matters worse it all started around the time we were playing for the National Championship. I haven't even been able to really enjoy this one. On top of it all we were down to one decent car at the time and I got stuck with a raggedy piece of shit car that has now broke down on me for good it seems. Top that with all the debt I still have, half the income, lawyer fees and life's consistent way of fucking you in the ass... Yeah, I could go on and on, but I think you get the gist. On the bright side, I fought for and got shared joint custody of my two kids and have them with me almost every day right now. I lost a lot in the agreement, but I got what I spent all of my savings and then some to get. Lawyers are fucking expensive, but if you pay the right ones it is all worth it in this world where they like to stick it to the father in custody battles. I still get to tuck them in damn near every night. So life ain't to bad now. Just got to pull myself out of this financial rut.
