Knee-on-knee hits are dirty plays, but, as has been said before, are not nearly as dangerous as hits to the head. Knee pain for life is something you can deal with. Mental incapacity is a much bigger issue.

I think the biggest BS is that the Sharks folded like cheap lawn furniture after that hit. I don't expect them to go head hunting but at least throw some checks and for the love of god don't let them sink three on you in the third.
