Until he didn't...then he got run over. The way to beat him was to catch it in front of him and then go right AT him.
Michael Irvin ran over him in college once. It was brutal.
Seattle is a small market team without a huge national following. How would the NFL benefit from cheating to send them to the Super Bowl?
The game got huge ratings but don't you think a Denver/San Fran SB would have drawn even more? I mean, San Fran has a way bigger following. Nitpicking bad or missed calls is all well and good but there needs to be motive for a conspiracy. I'm not seeing one.
Can you imagine how big of a shitstorm the media would make if the replacement refs were making some of these calls? Remember how every bad call was put under the microscope when we had the replacement refs but when we have the normal guys fucking up left and right of course nobody wants to point it out?
I don't either, I just think it was one more poorly officiated game, which was a theme all season.
