What's with the "NFL Rigged (NFCCG vid)" making the rounds on the web?

Is it me or is there a full blown campaign out there? I've seen this video pop up everywhere in the last 24 hours. Friends on Facebook. Twitter, gambling message boards, sports boards. One of my Niner friends even texted me with it.

I'll admit it though. Looks like the blown call ratio was 3:1 in favor of Seattle.

But....hey what else is new? Ref's blow games all the time.

you could go through almost every game and come up with some of the same blown calls.

With that being said, that call at the 3:40 mark was terrible.

But Seattle fans only care about bad penalties that go against them. Yeah, the 49er's were held and would have gotten to Wilson and the unsportsmanlike conduct on the 49er's after that was horrible.

That being said...

That didn't cause the 49er's to throw an INT in the waining seconds.

And Harbaugh is such a cry baby anyway I have a hard time feeling sorry for him.

There were bad calls no doubt, but that's no excuse. Every game has bad calls, you just have to overcome them.

Not really worried about that one point in the game....in fact...... not worried about anything. The 9ers lost and sat home for the Big Game. I have moved on weeks ago.

I wouldn't be shocked if any pro sports were rigged. After all, at the end of the day its a business and how you measure success in business is not with W's and L's... its with $'s.

That being said, it is really tough to prove any sort of conspiracy. All of this could simply be blamed on the refs incompetence. Also, in general people tend to have a problem keeping their mouth shut. These refs are making good money but not near the money they could make if they exposed such a conspiracy in book or something like that.

I don't know why people argue that doesn't happen. It's called, "home cookin'". Those grey area calls go for the home team.

Not just football but basketball and baseball as well.

And when in doubt, the offense will get a call their way. OPI is called far less than DPI.

Seattle is a small market team without a huge national following. How would the NFL benefit from cheating to send them to the Super Bowl?

The game got huge ratings but don't you think a Denver/San Fran SB would have drawn even more? I mean, San Fran has a way bigger following. Nitpicking bad or missed calls is all well and good but there needs to be motive for a conspiracy. I'm not seeing one.

Its just the advent of video's, technology and social media. I'm sure the same vid could've been made for thousands of other games throughout history.
