Twist3d is now the 4th person to chime in about this Shenanigans guy. I like how you didnt answer my question. You said the Eagles will NOT be able to sustain their offense after week 1. Now we are heading into week 6 and Im waiting for you to tell me who the 2nd ranked offense is. So you didnt correct me one iota. YOu are hiding from the fact that, not only are you a troll, but were also COMPLETELY wrong.

Denver ran back a kick and a punt in the thrashing of the Eagles Twist. So we gave up 38 points on D and scored 20 after settling for FGs. Dont get me wrong... they smashed us though. THey also probably would have scored two TDs if we stopped those returns anyway. Peyton had target practice that day. Looking forward to Sunday night. Big game for the Skins cause they could fall to 1-4 with Chicago, Denver next.

Doesn't matter that much since none of the NFC-E are going to do any damage in the playoffs. I am starting to agree with a recent post on this forum suggesting that the Redskins are now paying the price for the two offseasons where the cap sanctions were in effect. I am more hopeful for next offseason & am more concerned with RG3 staying healthy & showing some improvement as the season progresses. Would also like to see some of the young secondary members show some improvement. Everything else is gravy. Could go well, but I am not going to sweat it too much if they have a relatively bad season.

As for the Eagles - if I were you I would hope that Vick stays injured for most of the season. He is not the future of your team so why continue to waste time on him (since you are not going to make a true playoff run this year). Much better to have a chance to evaluate Foles & possibly Barkley to determine if they are the future or if you need to still look for a QB in the offseason.

Dear NCPsycho:

I do believe that SoCal told YOU to give it a rest as well. Unfortunately, and due to you being a stalking psychopath, you can't seem to stop from following my every post.

I don't understand why you continue to think that a) anybody cares how many people you make up have "chimed in," on the conversation, b) I care that some idiot cowpuke troll who I routinely embarrassed on the disney site also is an oversensitive loser like you, or c) you haven't been made to look as positively desperate and deranged as you so obviously are, but I digress:

If answering some question you never asked about a topic I never even said will make your pathetically sad, totally unhinged self stop stalking me, than here goes:

Who has the #2 offense after six weeks, and having not had a bye week yet? The Sheagles do. By one yard. Over a team that has already had a bye week.

Do you get a trophy for having a sub .500 record with your #2 offense? Is there a medal that goes with it, so that the Sheagle empty trophy case might at least get some closet bling? I wasn't aware of a

Congratulations, NcPsycho, on your 1/3 season offensive juggernaught championship banner!

Though I mentioned that the sheagle offense was unsustainable over the course of the entire season, don't hesitate to make up other crap to hopefully let the other brokebackers continue to "IM you" their sweet nothings!

You are the smartest, most sane, most interesting man on the blogosphere, and are definitely not the least bit crazy. At all.

Vick is made of glass, and Foles isn't athletic enough to run the Chip Kelly offense. I have no idea about Barkley, who some redskins fans wanted the year before last.

The problem with going from Vick to Foles is that the eagles will have to change some of the scheme, much like what had to happen when Cousins went in instead of RG3 - roll outs, boots, etc.

Which isn't to say that Foles couldn't play that way, and still be mildly successful. It's just that he doesn't have that strong an arm (west coast arm), and won't be able to keep the defense honest. He put up good numbers last week b/c the giants have a terrible lb crew, and everything was thrown in front of them on crossing routes.

All four NFC East teams have massive holes to fix in the next offseason, and the eagles are no exception. They need help everywhere.

For the redskins to win the NFC east, the online has to run and pass block much more effectively than they have I the past, the defense has to get consistent pressure on the opposing qb, and the secondary needs to play passable, if not good, coverage.

With better blocking, the read option and play action attack would be more consistent, and Alfred Morris could have another good year.
With more consistent pressure, opposing qb's wouldn't be able to target hall or fletcher vs the tight end.
With better coverage, the secondary would make the qb hold the ball for a half second or so longer than they have right now, which might be enough time to let the pass rushers get to the qb.

Could all of that happen? Probably not this year.

:agree:

You forgot to mention actually HAVING special teams that play for the home team... Nice analysis

Based on today's game, this will be a long season....and we will not be doing much....sigh. We turned no corner as a team. The irony is that we saw Some improvement in O and D and now Special Teams takes a humongous step backwards and gives us a total FAIL. Totally wretched play. And still, too many penalties. This Dallas Loss just flat out hurts. It's as I feared for this team, too little, too late in the season. Damn.
