Jets seem to have the easiest schedule.

The good divisions are going to beat each other up

Maybe but I have zero confidence in Mariota in his first year

Not saying TEN will do good, I'm just saying they have the easiest schedule IMO.

Isn't anything above ten considered really high?

AFC South (not including Colts) and NFC South are the easy divisions. It wouldn't surprise me at all if NFC North, NFC West, AFC West and AFC North all have good teams lose out on Wild Card opportunities because they don't play those cupcake teams and you'll see a team like Houston or Philly in the WC instead.

Not specifically. The over/under point is supposed to be the point where the the team has a 50% chance of being on either side, (at least in the minds of the betting public). 13½ would be extremely high. Hard to see any team having a 50-50 chance of being more successful than that.

Incorrect. The over/under is set with the expectation of having half the bets over and half under. It is about the money being 50-50, not the expectation of wins.....

Overunder - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

"The goal of a sportsbook is to have an equal number of bets on both sides of the over-under. In theory, this means that the manager could set the value at zero and then readjust based on either the number of incoming bets and/or events that influence the potential outcome."

Exactly, Vegas is basically just fan crowdsourcing data. I will say, the operative word is supposed to. I will say, the operative word is supposed to. And this thread does ask for our O/U's.

Which is what I said:

If you want to split hairs it's not about having the same amount of money on either side of the line but having the same financial liability on either side of the line. Odds are used to influence how people bet. It could be -115 on either side of the line or -150 on 1 side and +110 on the other, (just as an example).
