Well I guess we all know and have for a while we are just not a very good team. Too say we as Rams fans are long suffering would be well an understatement. We have been in a permanent state of rebuild for what more than ten years now. (sigh) From the head office all the way down to the field. Mistakes, miscues on and on. I really had faith Fisher would be the one. A seasoned head coach brought in with a clean slate. Able to hand pick his staff. Going into the drafts and getting the right players. But nooooo! WTF is going on. Yes we are a young team but where is the disciple that a seasoned staff brings to a team. (well maybe they aren't so seasoned)I am as big a Rams fan as you will ever find. But this is getting depressing. Week after week, year after year. And now the warning many were posting about if Sam goes down, seems it maybe a self fulfilling prophecy. I am not a stats guy or the answer man so I am not quite sure what we do to fix this. I would like to give a shout out too both SJ76 for showing much vision and FF for always having the clear view. Maybe some of you have the answers because we sure need some. So much for the ranting of a tired Rams fan. :bawling:

#1 I think Fisher already knows he is going to take the USC job (and if Bradford is severely injured, I would now for sure)
#2. Too many mistakes like you said and NO takeaways..that is why we won so handly last week.

As I stated in the game thread... not alot out there QB wise. Vince Young actually looks to be the best option...and that is SCARY.

I think regardless of the head coaching situation, this year is now about teaching and developing because almost everyone is probably going to have their starting job on the line save a couple of positions.

Nothing happens until we get the injury report on Bradford. If it's as bad as we suspect then Bradford will be put on IR which will free up $5M cap space. We'll sign a season-long temporary replacement QB but Clemens will start against the Seahawks. A large part of the team's finances have been funnelled towards our passing attack and without Bradford we won't be much of a threat. Bradford NOT being seriously hurt might hurt us even more. I don't know who we could cut that would free up enough cap space to be able to sign a short-term competent back-up. I don't think anyone expects Bradford to be available next week and going into a game with only 1 QB isn't an option. I'm not going to go further here. We'll know within 24 hours what the situation is.

Wow. Wouldn't that be a kick in the teeth Fisher bailing. I guess they just phone it in the rest of the season.

I dont believe anyone on this board would choose to have Sam lose
his job in this manner. Atleast I hope not.

This is getting so old. Lack of discipline is only the tip of the iceberg with this team. Year after year this team just stinks. Some witch doctor must have put a curse on this team. Apparently it makes them draft overrated, under-talented players like Quick and Pead and Bradford, among others. Apparently it makes us hire over-rated coaches who can't maintain discipline on their teams. Apparently it draws stupid fans like me who continue to root for this sorry franchise and delude myself into thinking that things will ever change.....If Dick Vermeil is still alive, please call him to come back because even if he's on his deathbed he'd make a better choice than the current *@#% we have.

And as far as Bradford is concerned, I sincerely hope he is not seriously injured, but that doesn't change the fact any that he is a lousy QB. Wake up and smell the coffee for crying out loud. He doesn't have what it takes to play in the NFL. Perhaps arena or Canadian is a possibility or perhaps back to college where he can lock on to one receiver and doesn't have to read defenses.....

Totally agree Ozark, and Pigpen, I'm not a big fan of Bradfords as you know, but a true sports fan would never wish this on anyone. I would much rather Sammie got to finish out the year, and if he wasn't making any strides in improving, we needed to look elsewhere.

As far as Clemons, I still can't believe out of ALL the college QB's that came out last year and all the Free agent NFL QB's now, that we couldn't find someone better than him. I don't believe in giving the back up spot to someone just because he has NFL experience. How much experience can you have being a lifetime backup.

And when you are a young team like the Rams and not a very good team, having a veteran back up does what for you. You might as well throw some young hotshot in there and see what he can do, you never know when you just might find yourself a Kurt Warner.

Good to see you BOSS there is no middle ground with you. lol Smed55 I believe the lack of depth at backup QB only adds to the long list of puzzling decisions the coaching staff have made this year.

The way we are playing we may have lost the rest with Bradford anyway, so yes it may be irrelevant.

Another Great Year

Another year done and gone for the Rams. I would Muther fk this Oraganization, coaches, team upside down sideways inside out backwards but I am just to fking tired of this chit year in and year out. I am done wasting my time this season with these fking morons who call them the Organization of the St. Louis Rams who have no conception on how to run an NFL franchise! Jokes we are, clowns, you name it that are the Rams. Can't wait to see next weeks game and watch to see what type of freak show shows up.

I think its time we move on and cut our ties with Bradford. He needs a fresh start some where else and we need a fresh start with another QB.
