What is your teams biggest bust and why

As a Bills fan I have to go with Aaron Maybin, Over drafted then he held out played 16 games but had no sacks didnt make it onto the field at all his second season finally was a healthy scratch second half of the season then finally release total states 23 tackles 0 sacks.

Make things worst he goes to the Jets has 2 sacks first game against the Bills, and two picks after Maybin Orakpu was selected and became a Pro Bowler.

Bo Jackson. Because he decided to play for the Royals instead.

Well, I was on the record for not liking that pick. I wanted B J Raji.

Nice insight. I was mad about the Niners picking Crabtree because I wanted Orakpo...

I don't know that he's the 49ers' biggest bust, but he's the most annoying one I can remember. Rashaun Woods in 2004. It's not that he wasn't even close to talented enough to play in the NFL, but it's that I wanted Vince Wilfork like a fat kid wants candy in the checkout lane. I even started a W_I_L_F_O_R_K thread on the 4-letter forum on draft day. I'm still mad about that one. :mad2:

My knocks on Smith were that he wasn't tall enough to play left tackle efficiently, he was a converted tight end (yeah sometime it works but it works better when you are 6'6" not 6'4") and that he had only played the position one year at Baylor.

Just seemed to have a weak resume.

Oh I have a ton of those. Like taking Whitner instead and Ngata then you trade back to the first to take McGargo who busted and if your going to trade up to take Losman why not trade up and take Big Ben and you wouldnt have had to give up an extra Pick.

I grew up a falcons fan. I'll go with Aundray Bruce. I think he was the number 1 overall player selected that year. What a waste.

Maybe Jeff Otah. Not sure if you'd count Rae Carruth, there.

As a Bengals fan, this is tough, but I'll go with:

Akili Smith, 3rd over-all pick
Went 3-14 as a starter, 46% completion%, 5 TDs, 13 INTs, 59 sacks, 19 fumbles, 52.8 career rating.

The Bengals also traded down, passing on Steven Jackson, to take Chris Perry 2 picks later in 2004.

Bo Jackson. Because he decided to play for the Royals instead.

Actually Hugh Culverhouse made Bo Jackson ineligible to play baseball at Auburn for his senior season. He was so mad about it that he told the Bucs he would not play for them and would instead go into the Royals farm system.

The Biggest Bucs draft bust was Keith McCants, he really couldnt...

Top 5
1. Keith McCants - 1990 - 1st (4th Overall)
2. Eric Curry - 1993 - 1st (6th Overall)
3. Charles McRae - 1991 - 1st (7th Overall)
4. Rod Jones - 1986 - 1st (25th Overall)
5. Dexter Jackson - 2008 - 2nd (58th Overall)
