Pats comeback against a very strange beginning of game will headline. Peyton and Tommy didn't even come into play, well not really...

AFC: Stillers, Ravens, and Titans are in the race for wildcard #2 at 5-6 (Titans have the tiebreaker).

NFC: NYG's blew their shot to be in the mix, Bucs are looking good (we have to play them next week), Lions need to rebound pronto. Cardinals are surging.

Obviously, Peyton Manning getting cut would be the biggest headline.....

Since my team didn't play this week I got the opportunity to glanced in at the rest of the league and I gotta say it was one of the best week for football. There were some amazing games.

The picture is getting much more clear. I've been giving the Broncos way too credit and the Pats not enough.

And on a side note, Titans nation threw the towel in last week but somehow we're now a wildcard team?! How can that possibly be?

And Ryan Fitzpatrick was studly yesterday. Best game of his career? He was a fuckin LEADER yesterday.

Obviously the Steeler game was the highlight of the weekend for me (along with OAK losing).

That said...the games that kinda jumped off the page at me.

CAR @ MIA...CAR has won 7 straight including 3 road games...with 3 of the next 5 @ home...they are looking like the 5th seed.

SD @ KC...the Chiefs are looking very average on DEF recently (and that was with Hali & Houston in the lineup)...they wasted probably the best offensive effort of the year from A. Smith and the OFC. The great start will still land them the 5th seed I think, but I they will lose a couple more games.

TB @ DET...talk about the unexpected. The Lions more or less controlled the game but the turnovers and a couple of big plays was the difference...I really have no clue who will win the NFCN now,

Idk about much more, but right now I know PIT is looking up at the Titans. I picked the Titans yesterday and think they have as good shot as any...9 wins may do it, but the team that posts 10 wins can start making playoff plans imo.

I predict that the Steelers miss the playoffs, fire Mike Tomlin and he's immediately hired by the Titans. :hope:

Great to see some teams improving over the course of the season. Phil, Az, Caro, NO, TB, Stl, and Pitt all on winning streaks down the stretch.
All noticing our rivals situation. SF losing 2 straight and the pressure of the playoff noose is tightening around their neck. Will they make the 6th seed? If they do and make it out of the 1st round, chances are quite high that they will get to come to Seattle for the divisional round game.

I have no clue the way this team has played this season...New LT, LG, and RT, I knew they would struggle at the OL spot for a handful of games...but now 11 games in the LT, C are not the same guys that started the season and what do ya know...the OL is playing better.

I've said before...if PIT beats BAL on the road, that will tell me a lot about the playoff chances for this yr...on the second part of that...I think Tomlin is secure for next yr regardless of what happens this yr. I would think Munchak would be also.

Orig from TN (Memphis) and when the Titans 1st left HOU they played a couple of seasons in Memphis and Bud Adams approached Memphis 1st about building a stadium and typical backwards thinking Memphians, they told Adams they would renovate the existing college POS venue. Basically told him to shove it...he went right up I40 to Nashville and they jumped at the chance to have a pro NFL team.
