I think it's good news for hitters in the coming months. Bullpens will become tired, and hitters will be facing either tired or rookie relievers. So when it comes to late innings, it's tee off time!
Because games should not end in a tie like some sports do..
Yeah. Thursday was a banner example! 18 innings in Oakland, 14 in Chicago and 13 in Baltimore.
I'd like to see a statistic comparing the percentage of extra inning games this year compared to previous highs and norms. Incredible!
