I'm sure I'll be proven wrong in a week or two, but what if it's gotten to the point where the only players that are WILLING to come here are guys that played for Ron?

I can't say I would be surprised.

RR isn't the problem in washington. He may not be the exact solution, but he certainly isnt the problem.

The whole flackin' organization is hampered by a huge caveat that hangs over all of the steps they try to take to get better:

There is a management structure in place. Caveat: how much control does Dan Snyder REALLY have?
Players seem to love to play for Rivera. Caveat: Sherff signed elsewhere for less money, TM hasn't signed here yet long term.
The Commanders searched for a franchise qb exhaustively. Caveat: they ended up with Carson Wentz.
"I'm tired of the scandals. The only thing that solves this is winning," - Ron Rivera (paraphrase). Caveat: 14-19 in two seasons.
"We're building stability." Caveat: sex scandals, sponsors pulling out, All Pro players leaving, Dan Snyder.

if you are riddled with various types of corruption you cant win
Therein lies the problem!!
Corruption for better or worse, is part of the fabric in business. There are plenty of professional teams thriving despite dubious inner operational and personal faux-pas.

The biggest problem with this franchise is the management structure. Snyder has gone from a singular sleaze bag with no organizational skills to group think also with little organizational skills at its head, and the results are obvious for all to see. Winners in this particular business seem all to follow a more traditional model to success and as such, until Snyder follows suit, people will point at those bad business practices in search of answers for failure, primarily because it's easier to do that than to sully reputations of otherwise respected hires who are out of their element in the positions they hold. (Sleaze bags excepted)
