Have some of it
I don't know that our BMD's have the Hail Mary set as the fulcrum for any possible decision with the future of the HC. However that doesn't take away any bad ass from the play itself
First off, none of those things you stated above were a miracle....
Second off, all of those things are things that would have actually helped Bo's resume. I'm talking about a fucking hail mary here. It is mind-blowing to think that a ball was thrown, tipped, wrongly defended, and caught perfectly.....and it was thrown from the opposite 45 yard line......with 4 seconds left.......and it will likely save a guy's job.
I mean, this is HUGE. Those other things are small compared to this one pass. This one pass is the difference between a 7-3 record and a 5-5 record.
No way in hell Bo survives with a 5-5 record midway through November at the University of Nebraska. A 7-3 record on the other hand........
Also what if we had OSU and W's were on our schedule this year, instead of Purdue and Ill, where would be? If for no other reason than a weak schedule that Bo stays on another year it is a very sad set of circumstances. I'm fucking sick of waiting 9 months in between seasons and finding out somehow we were able to not do anything better but worse in fact. We can't recruit better if we don't win or get better coaches that can. They are available.
-------Very possibly. That's a part of training also.
-------Sarcasm font mf'er
Use It!!!!
--------What if Kunalic kicks the ball in bounds giving UT a much
longer field to drive down? What if Suh doesn't run after McCoy, leaving him to stay in bounds looking for a receiver as the clock ticks to zero with no controversy? Thus catapulting us into relevance, putting us in a BCS bowl that we likely win?
What if Taylor Martinez doesn't throw the ball right into Travis Lewis's hands in the end-zone and we end up scoring and winning a second Big 12 title and vanquishing both major Big 12 powers? What if we end up in yet another BCS bowl game against an inferior opponent whom we thrash for every major recruit to see?
What if by doing that, our recruiting catches fire and every major recruit around the country suddenly thinks Nebraska is their dream school? What if because of that, we put together consecutive top 5 recruiting classes and begin to compete for national titles... IN THE BIG 12.
What if becaus we didn't move to the B1G and stayed in the Big 12, our spread killing defense and top 5 recruiting classes to match end up giving us multiple national titles and all the glory we ever imagined including heisman winners and churning out 1st rounders left and right?
Easy to play the "what if" game, JJM.
-------What if the 5 turnovers never happened? Just like turnovers is a problem for this regime, miracle finishes have become the norm for them as well.
-------
If I am going to be sarcastic, everyone here will know until them exactly which one is the sarcasm font?

Any HC that has any brains would knwo when to bakc off with "training" if it becomes detrimental to the health and well being of the players. This is after all not the military.

True except few if nay of the miracle finishes were against ranked teams. OUR miracle finishes always seem to come with teams we should have been pounding on anyway like NW this year.
This is it.
I want to see solid fundamentals. I do not want to be relieved because we can actually fair catch a punt without fumbling. That shit is unacceptable.
Boy I'll say! You said a mouthful here!
Got them glory holes on your mind, huh?
