If ND wasn't undefeated and their one loss would have come @ Ok ahoma, would a one loss/higher ranked Oklahoma have still gotten the BCS snub?

Or would ND have taken NIU's At Large spot?

I'm thinking by rule OU would have still gotten snubbed.

Oklahoma being ranked higher than ND is what I'm indicating, yes.

There is an At Large rule for ND by themselves as well as a separate At Large rule for mid-majors.

weak argument kt .. they're not in a conference .. they're undefeated and play a pretty damned tough schedule .. if neither of those were the case, i would agree -- and i think you know that notre dame deserves to be there .. they haven't played many cupcakes like most indy's would do

playing/not playing in a ccg is a good point though. if a big12 team had gone undefeated, would they really deserve going over alabama who had to play an extra game against a very good georgia team? not necessarily

and honestly that has something to do with the big12 not expanding .. can play a round robin and easier path to the playoff .. hopefully, they prove that theory wrong in the next yr or two.
