What If Kirk Cousins Plays Really Good

Yeah I'm with Blaze as usual. I think it's very reasonable to predict that Kirk plays OK to pretty good, then what? It's why I was on the Griffin bus for so long, a QB who tops out at pretty good (I don't ever see great as the OP does) is a QB who will ultimately get to be a QB who never is quite good enough. Me? I don't want another Andy Daulton and Kirk has a much better shot of being Andy Daulton than he does Ben Rothlisberger.

Not so sure about that. If - big IF - Cousins cuts down significantly on the turnovers & doesn't fall apart in clutch time then I believe that Cousins has a chance to be one of the better QBs in the NFL. He is fundamentally sound & has sufficient talent to perform at a high level. He also appears to be a good leader for this team. Again - significant improvement in those areas will be a major challenge. He may revert to bad habits & ultimately be a career backup - let's hope not.
