I don't know if I am allowed to post these here but this one was pretty interesting.

20. DT Kenneth Grant - Michigan
51. WR Jayden Higgins - Iowa State
85. TE Mason Taylor - LSU
122. RB Cameron Skattebo - Arizona State
191. RB Jaydon Blue - Texas
197. LB Jay Higgins - Iowa
208. DB Caleb Ransaw - Tulane

Personally, this is a home run for me.

Grant protects from the coming Allen/Roach/Franklin-Myers contracts and gives the team a true big-body in the middle. Higgins is a big body slot guy who Payton loves and can play outside...also protects the team in case Sutton does not get signed long-term. Taylor would be a grand slam in round 3...and Skattebo/Blue combo is a ton of talent to the RB room. Higgins is nice depth and Ransaw reminds me of Demarri Mathis...which is a great gamble in the late rounds.

Sign me up!

I've shared my opinions on most of the guys in this mock so I don't want to sound like a broken record but one I haven't your 7th rd pick Ransaw.

Great flyer, he is an athlete, raw but a lot of upside in him as a late round flyer. He can run, good ball skills and still has untapped raw potential. Has gotten better each year. Really put himself on the map this year. I like him.

He and Upton Stout of Western Kentucky are two late round picks with a lot of upside that I like.

Agree it would be great - but seems pretty unrealistic w Taylor in third. I worry he won’t make it to 51, much less 84.

Same. Would be pretty shocking if he was there with our 3rd. I wonder more if he or Arroyo will even be there with our Rd 2 pick.

Agree and I meant to say as much. Flip it with Arroyo and maybe even Ferguson and I think my feelings are still with an A draft.

I wonder if Arroyo might slide a bit with injury concerns.

I would give it a B+ and not an A for the sole reason that it doesn't give us The Guy in the RB room. Skatteboo and Blue both have talent, but neither is an A1 RB prospect which I think this team and Nix really needs. I am also skeptical as to how Skatteboo translates to the NFL.

Other than that tons of talent and would be thrilled to grab Taylor, but agree I don't think he will be there in the 3rd round.

So much for me in this mock is who was there when we picked...Let's say Jeanty and Hampton are both gone before pick 20. You don't want to reach for the next guys (although I'm personally a huge Henderson fan if the medicals check out for how Payton could use a guy like him). At that point maybe Grant really is the best guy left at a position of need (yes DT is a huge need).

In the 2nd let's say Judkins, Henderson, and Johnson are gone at that point. Higgins would be an incredible addition to the WR room that I still think needs another big time player added to the unit.

And in the 3rd you just can't pass on such talent like Taylor that can help you now and moving into the future at a position we need to add another playmaker to.

So that leaves you to the 4th where Skatteboo is probably really good value. Again i would want to see what other RB's were available, but then I would pair Scatteboo and Blue with a vet like Dobbins and I would feel pretty good about that RB room. It isn't the perfect room for sure but I would feel like the room upgraded quite a bit.

Grant position groups. Grant is one of my top choices at 20. Double dipping at RB TY TY. Only push back you couldn't pick one more Higgins :D

Of course you can - and thanks!

Draft starts three weeks from tonight. Almost time to open the draft contest. We haven’t had anyone who wants to run this in the last several years - so it’s mostly for fun and not really a contest.

That would be my letdown. I like Blue a lot but not as the main guy.. Skattebo does some nice things and I think his versatility would be nice but not getting out bellcow in this draft would be a letdown... Aside from that I like the picks.

Which RB's do you like most day 2 and day 3 for us?

Will assume we leave out Henderson and Judkins who could be there Day 2 (ALthough I think Henderson goes rd 1) but wouldn't be there Rd 2 with our pick.

The RB I really want is Hampton, Henderson or Judkins but

Kaleb Johnson
DJ Giddens
Bhayshul Tuten
Jaydon Blue
Trevor Etienne (Had more speed then I expected)
Devin Neal

There are plenty others I would be happy with on day 3 as well.

Leaving off Dylan Sampson because he is bad in pass protection and I think that is super important to Sean Payton with his RB.

No love for RJ Harvey? I know he is a high variance player of either negative or positive play, but being a really good receiver as well as homerun threat RB I would add him to my list.

I think Ollie goes early day 3.

I had him on my list and the when I re-read his list he said day 2 so I left him out.

You know I am the biggest Ollie Gordon fan on the face of the planet.

I would be fine with Harvey. Really it would be hard for me to be upset with any of the top 10-12 RB's.. I think if you take a guy like Harvey or Blue (who I love) in Denver's situation it has to be the second RB you take in the draft. Denver really needs to grab one of the top 6 RB's in this draft. They need that true RB 1. Blue reminds me of Tatum Bell with a little more strength. I mean this in a good way as perhaps the biggest Tatum Bell supporter when he was a Bronco. Has the home run ability but does have some fumbling concerns like Bell.

If the value of a RB isn't there early then I would have no problem adding him in his value round. I think Harvey's upside is limited is. He is tiny at just over 5'7", 5'8" tops. He does have good pad level and can truck defenders but for a 5'8"ish RB I want to see him have more explosion and be more elusive then he is. To me he is a good depth RB on an NFL roster but not a guy you will see as a #1 RB which is what we are looking for.

Also, really like Damien Martinez of Miami. Think in a deep RB class him and Arkansas RB Ja'Quinden Jackson are very underrated in this class. Those are probably more of early day 3 guys though.

I really think we need to come away with one of the top 5 RB's out of this class. As deep as it is I see too many people thinking we can wait until Round 4. The value will be good the entire draft. But I want one of the top 5.

If we take a second RB it just depends on what RB we take first.

If we end up with a guy like Hampton. Henderson, Judkins etc then I would love a guy like Jaydon Blue or even Brashard Smith or LeQuint Allen later on. If we pass on RB early I would like to pair guys like Devin Neal/ Trevor Etienne/ Ollie Gordon Damien Martinez/Ja'Quinden Jackson or even Blue, Smith, Allen.

I'm starting to have too much fun with these double RB scenarios and this coming from a guy who likes our RB's on our current depth chart once we get the DAWG we need.

I think my perfect scenario is we trade back in the 1st and then take Henderson. If there is a RB designed for the Payton system as that true Joker guy I think it is him.
Then in the 4th round get yourself Martinez to do the dirty work up the middle. I have Martinez ranked as my 6th RB. Right now it is 1) Jeanty 2) Henderson 3) Hampton 4) Johnson 5) Judkins 6) Martinez
