The kid had like 40 goals back in December, and only has about 3 goals in the past 2 months.

I've heard of hitting a wall before, but this goes well past that point now.

Me thinks is has something to do with Tampa falling off the map lately in regards to wins.

Are we sure he hit 40 in December? I think Sid was ahead of him when he got hurt and had 32 goals. So since the Sid injury in January I think Stammer was right about at 30-35. Now he's up to 43. But still a very slow pace.

I was just being a bit dramatic considering the slump he has been in. I didn't do any actual searching for exact numbers in my OP.

Relax, we all know that Sid is better, and would have like 85 goals by now if he wasn't hurt.

I think with Stamkos it is all mental. A game earlier this season against the Devils they roughed him up and got into his head early, the guy was invisible the entire game. If he can be taken out of 1 game that easily then a mini scoring slump could turn into what we have here because he can't mentally overcome the adversity. That's when you need a coach or veteran to step in and do their thing.
