Deep draft can draft a WR, CB, S with 1st 3 picks. Plus if we pick up Thurmond in FA CB becomes less of a need in round 1.

Honestly man, I'm starting to think that we like where we are at in regards to CB. Of course I could be wrong but these guys picked their guy basically at the start of FA and signed him in Cook, I haven't heard much else on the CB front since then. There is still the chance that we get a CB but I think in the draft our top priority will be WR.

I like Kenny Britt. He was a guy I had on my list before free agency even started. We could pick him up really cheap and give him an incentive based contract. I remember a few years ago he started off really hot and was #1 fantasy football WR halfway thru the year but then got injured. I know he has attitude problems also and has got in trouble but a change of scenery might be what he needs.

:agree: Hope the Niners land Cooks in the 1st and a CB in the 2nd. Any chance Moncrief lasts until the end of the 2nd round? Maybe a CB in the first (Verrett or Roby) and Moncrief in the 2nd round if the Niners are unable to trade up and get Cooks.

the draft looks kinda crappy at wr, i'm hoping we fill other positions in the draft.

This drafted is loaded at WR. It doesn't have the flawless studs on the top but it more than makes up for it with depth.
I'm not crazy about Watkins, dude caught 70% of his passes within 5 yards of the line of scrimmage. I think he is gonna fail miserable if his NFL team tries the same distribution with him. Dudes in the NFL are gonna tackle a hell of a lot better and get blocked less on screens. He didn't run a blazing forty either. Easily the most overhyped player in the draft IMO.

I really wouldnt mind signing Britt at all. Holmes I think could be great for us. They both have injury and baggage problems but in this locker room, i think it would turn out fine. If they can be signed for the right price.
James Jones wouldnt be so bad for us either. I doubt we sign them but why are so many opposed? Britt and Holmes have both been with teams that are offensively challenged to put it nicely and James is an ok piece.

I'm with Doobie & Dodub; I say re-sign Osgood (or a KR who also is a WR like Hester if the Niners are gonna make the mistake of not drafting Dri Archer).

I read they are interested in re-signing Osgood which is a no-brainer. As it stands based off last season he provides a lot more on game days than Baldwin.
