I voted K-State. Washington is not really a factor, they have Locker and Polk and thats about it. They went 0-11 2 years ago, and put together the most impressive 5-7 season possible last year, but it's still 5-7...in the Pac-10. Okie State worries me mildly, simply because of what Kendall Hunter has proved he can do week in week out, and he is a WAY better than Rainey, but that is judging off our first game.
Snyder has brought back to K-State to what Bo has brought to NU, and that scares me. They may not have Oklahoma or Texas caliber players, but they play some fucking football the way it is supposed to be played. Mark my words after we leave the Big 12, K-State will take our place and be the team to pressure Texas and Oklahoma.
Last year we rode Helu and Niles Paul to a very boring victory vs K-State, and even though the game is in Manhattan, I don't see it being as close as 17-3. They worry me more than Washington, but this year I see more production from the offense. Whether it be Martinez, Burkhead(who was injured last match up), Helu, Paul, or Kinnie, we have way more playmakers on offense. I am not too worried about Thomas, he may have been the leading rusher in the Big 12 last year, but it was by a mere 118 yards over Helu, who was injured through a good portion of the year and racked up 307 yards vs Va Tech and Oklahoma, Daniels' 2 best games were vs Colorado and Kansas for 330 yards.
washington......its our first roady of the year. very loud place. lol ksu has a good rb but thats it. yeah they beat UCLA and could have ost that game....did anyone watch ucla vs stanford.....lol ucla lost 35 to 0 and couldnt do anything and ucla was at home.....i believe NU will handle washington but id have to say they give me more concern then kstate or okie st, okie st d is bad.
