Does the Flyers' goalie curse continue?

I think he plays well and signs a 3-4 year contract with Philly. Neuvy is moved in the off-season and we go into 18-19 with a Mrazek and Elliott. This would allow Hart to get a full year in AHL and then make a decision to sign a cheap back-up until Hart is ready to come up.

I agree with this. I also hope it's this haha

It's a little early to judge though, 3 games is a small sample size. But he's looked very good in those three games.

I can see this unless Stolarz realizes his potential next year. Hart will most likely come up after Elliott's contract is up.

They will have to make a decision on Mrazek at the end of the year. I don't think we will see enough of Stolarz this year coming back from injury to be convinced he will be the guy.

That's why I sign Mrazek and if Stolarz beats him out next year you can move one or the other or possibly Elliott goes. Good problem to have. Either way I'm moving Neuvy he gets hurt way too often...

Here's the ironic part:

Mrazek and Stolarz have both now started exactly four games for the Flyers and they sport an identical .928 save percentage with one shutout each...Lol

I think Mrazek gives up too many rebounds for a long playoff run and i hope Elliot comes back to play like he was prior to getting hurt.

Long term, Mrazek is most likely not going to be a Flyer.
He has had some strong moments but his overall play is just not that good.

Stolarz and Lyon are both better long term back up/emergency goalies.

Stolarz and Lyon are both RFAs next year.
