I have a 35pt lead, PPR league, with Sproles and Sturgis left, opponent has Brees. I feel confident.

15pt lead, standard league, I'm done, opponent has Graham....yikes! 1pt every 10yds, 6 for TDs.

40pt lead, PPR, opponent has Graham and Lamar Miller....double yikes! DMC and Morris both going down in the same game killed me. Left Gio on my bench in this one (also have Murray)

Really needing MIA DEF to step it up vs Graham this tonight. GL to Hartline as well.

Why?

League was formed in 1978... Wayyy before FF evolved into what it is now. Nothing is done by the internet (except weekly results emailed) it was hard to adjust when I got into it 3 yrs ago. Lineups are called into a designated phone line at a local business. There is a very high buy in at $525 but there is many benefits...

17 weekly high point awards = $50 each week
13 head to head matchups - $20 each week
Champion = $300
Runner up = $200
Third = $50
Wildcard = $25

During weeks 14 through 16, playoff teams will submit their lineups which will be used for both weekly awards and playoff competition. (In week 14, lineups for the teams seeded #1 and #2 will be used for weekly awards only) Non playoff teams will submit lineups during that period for weekly awards only. Week 17 lineups will be submitted by all club members for weekly awards. Lineups submitted in week 17 for all members will consist of using any NFL player that is playing that week.

During the NFL playoffs, all woners will submit a team roster comprised of those players involved in the NFL playoff games scheduled for the week. Number of players selected and positions shall correspont to the Guidelines during the regular season. Awards for those weeks are $50, $30, $20

Additionally, we have several "meetings" at a local bar/ restaurant in which all food and drink is free.
1 draft night party, 5 monday night football meetings & the Super Bowl party in which we have the entire place to ourselves.

And I thought I had no chance. Need less than 30 from Graham and Hartley in MBBRL and 48 from Hartline and Hartley in my money league. I feel pretty good about the first one and not so good about the second. A 91 yard TD catch (lol) from Hartline is worth 21 points for the TD and 9 points in yardage so if he can have 2 of those I should be good................

My one pay league matchup is over and I finally got in the W column after 3 straight weeks of garbage. What I need tonight, though, is to see Lamar Miller take a firm grip on the starting RB spot in Miami so I can confidently start him over Chris Johnson moving forward.

I've also already won my other pay league but I have Brees left to go, so I'm gonna rack it up. From week 2-4, I will have gone from 11th to 4th. Reggie Bush is my guy.

In the B League, I am down 30 to Foot, but while he has Charles Clay left, I still have Jimmy Graham, Marques Colston and the Saints defense. I am really, really hoping the Saints blow up. If I'm 0-4, I will likely be asked to leave the board.

Julias Thomas gets me 4 with Denver scoring 50+

Vincent Jackson, who will not be in my lineup anymore, got me a whopping 2 POINTS

and..... my kicker only got 3 points.

Oh , and I was wrong about needing 60, I need 73.

Thomas.. he bothers me somewhat. He's a monster athlete and could get you 20 one week, but I have a feeling those 4 point weeks will happen more than people want to think this year. He's still the #4 target.

Poor Jackson. He is really in a bad spot down there. I can't think Glennon will be worse than Josh Freeman, but still, that's a tough spot. I have Doug Martin in a league, so I feel your pain, except I have to start him no matter what.
