Raiders at Jets (Sun at 1pm)

Texans at Jags (Thur at 8pm)

I own the underline team. (I have Panthers but I have Brees.)

I'm option to other options but it's a 12 team owner league is waiver is thin... ie. steelers, bills, bucs...

Thanks for the input ahead of time!

I would think Raiders, since the Jets have one of the worst offenses in the league. Although the Jags aren't much better.

Raiders have put up 20 more fantasy points this year compared to Houston.

Raiders dont have a great defense, nor are they a great rushing the QB team... so it is as likely that the Jets have a decent offensive day as it is a bad offense day... Depending on your league rules for defense, i would go elsewhere to both of those games... I think bills and bucs are both better this week... But if your league penalizes for points scored more than sacs and turnovers, then both oakland and houston have good defenses this week because it will likely be low scoring games...

Def only loses points when the other team scores points and gives up yardage.

Def gets points for sacks, int, fumble, etc... normal fantasy.

Key is you want a Def that can create turnovers (and yes a lucky TD)

Hey, DUB!

Jets are more likely to cough the ball up at this stage of the season, I think. But I'd stick with the better unit with Houston.

DUB, a blast from the past. Nice to see a post from you.

Texans played the Jags 2 weeks ago and lost, yet only allowed 13 points. In the last 3 games, the Jags have scored an average of 19.6 points per game. (vs ARI, HOU & CLE)
In the last 3 games combined, the Jets have scored a total of 20 points. (vs MIA, BAL & BUF)

Mathematically, I'd go with the Raiders. But Wil is usually right.

Good to hear from ya, Dub. I'm liking Da Raidahs this week against the hapless Jets. Texans are tempting, but it's just so hard to know if they'll show up. Bills would be my second choice.

The Raiders get my vote. Jacksonville has played a lot better lately and the Jets have gotten a lot worse lately.

Texans. The Jags are playing better, yes, but they are still good for sacks and turnovers.

Hey DUBster I'd take a shot with the raiders. Although Seattle did pretty good against Brees so Carolina might not be a bad option either. Hope all is well!

Thanks everyone! Hi fellas (WilWhite AverageJoe Chef99 The Foot)

I truly have a tough pick considering I heard from you experts, looked at numbers, listened to gut, and just finished a personal best 5K via Nike Running App and still don't have a decision I can live with.... UGH!

Time to grab a two hearted bells beer and eat dinner!

For the record I sat the Texans (Made a dumb mistake by not cutting them as it is pointless to hold onto dead weight this time of year on my bench!)

Toss up between Raiders at Jets or Dolphins at Steelers.

I personally would go Steelers or even Bucs before Id go Raiders. Jets give up points to opposing defenses but I would imagine a heavy dose of the running game by the Jets who will be looking to limit Geno's opportunities to make mistakes not to mention the whole west coast team playing on the east coast thing.

Steelers in a possible snow game at home against a warm weather team and the Bucs at home who have been playing better of late except for a small blemish against the Panthers are better choices imo considering your options.

I'm streaming defenses and dropped the Dolphins for the Raiders this week. Miami got me 24 against the Jets, and didn't need a TD to do it.

Ok, how about this...What is the weather going to be like in these games? Typically bad/cold weather calls for low scoring and high turnover type games.

TB would've been great. . But other than that defensive TD, the Steel Curtin sucked just as bad. No idea what they scored as ESPN has their score all jacked up, but couldn't be much more than the Raiders

The curtain stunk it up on the field...but in fantasy a defensive td , 3 sacks and a int are much better than the goose egg the raiders put up in most leagues. Bucs were by far the better call of the bunch though.

Edit: I just checked ESPN. Steelers scored 9, Raiders scored -1
