A Sig 45 - B -XO

A friend has one he has only shot 1 time. Said he’d sell it to me for $500.

Good gun?

it would be my first handgun. I’ve shot plenty of others, just never had one of my own

seriously though, i've never shot the B-XO, but if it's made by Sig, you know you're getting a quality product. Why does he want to sell it? $500 is likely a pretty good bargain, i'm guessing this gun retails somewhere between $700-$850

He needs the money...got laid off, doesn’t look like he’ll be going back anytime soon.

damn, that stinks. now, with that perspective having been shed on the subject, (and by no means am i telling you how to spend your money), but if you're truly interested, and he's your friend and you wanna help the guy out, i might be inclined to give him $600 for it, if I were you; i mean, if he's being truthful in saying he's only had one shooting session with it, then the gun is basically new. and sig's definitely don't come cheap.

Thanks, that’s what I was wondering. He set price and I had no idea of value. He bought it as a Christmas present for himself, shot it once while I was there at his house on Christmas Day, and said he hasn’t gotten it back out since then.

maybe I’ll just rent it from him for the 500 and let him have it back when he gets back on his feet

Finally got all the paperwork approved by the state. She’s mine (at least for the time being)

probably change the grips and the trigger but that’s it
