Went 9th overall (round). Lineups---1 QB, 2 RB, 3 WR/TE, 1 Flex (WR/TE/RB), 1 K.

QB--Joe Burrow (6), Baker Mayfield (13)

RB--Jonathan Taylor (2), Rachaad White (4), Zamir White (9), Gus Edwards (10), Trey Benson (11), Trey Sermon (15)

WR/TE--AJ Brown (1), Deebo Samuel (3), Michael Pittman (5), Mark Andrews (7), Dalton Kincaid (8), Evan Engram (12), Ladd McConkey (14)

K--Younghoe Koo (16)

I know I loaded up at TE, but I didn't like my choices at RB at that point in the draft, but hey...as long as they catch passes and get TDs that's the bottom line.
I'm happy with it overall. I'd say my weak spot is RB depth...but who knows?

your starters look solid... but yea... the overloading on TE is gonna hurt you... don't know when or how... as your starters seem solid...

but problem with TEs in this format is a few things... because TEs count as WR, you lose out on the TE value... and generally even the best TEs are at best low end WR2s...more like WR3 or flex...

and you will be holding them as if they are more valuable, and nobody Is going to be actively looking for them in trades..

you are probably an injury or 2 before you NEED to start a TE, but I am sure as the season goes, you will add new players... so I don't know if the TE problem will affect you at all... or if you even have a problem...

If one of those TEs has a big week 1, immediately start offering him in trades to shore up other positions. You definitely overdid it on TE. Even if you don't like the RBs, you should have some in mind that might pop. In the middle and later rounds, its hard to find good RBs anyway. Everyone you draft you're just hoping it works out and looking for upside guys

I don’t think the TE thing is going to hurt you because you got decent value on each one.

You have to view them as if they are WRs since there is no TE spot in your league.

They are your WR 4,5 and 6 which is fine. You seem to have gotten a decent price where I think all the TEs you drafted were decent values even without the TE eligibility value.

Would've like to have seen a decent 3rd WR. TE's are all well and good, and you did get a nice collection, but come byes/ injuries, you could be playing more of them, in prominent spots, where an actual WR would be a better bet.

It ain't terrible, just not ideal.

Team ain't bad at all

Not a fan of drafting TEs when you don't have to unless the value is insane. Even then, I would only look at 1 or 2, maybe. RBs are fairly deep, but unspectacular. I feel like you will need someone to step up (or pluck them from the ww) and carry this team if you want to make a run.

Philosophically I only draft TEs because you have to play one so take what I say with a grain of salt if you disagree.

I think if you went WRs where you drafted Andrews and Kincaid you’d be better off.

That said you have some balance and the season is about what you do from here. I go B- . Good luck and have a great year

I do agree for the most part.

But a legit TE1 on many teams today is one of their top receiving threats.

So in a non-TE league, I do think any of the top 8 or so should be drafted.

Just 2-4 rounds lower than where they would typically be ranked in a league where you start TEs.

Just did another draft on NFL.com. Went 9th again.

QB--Joe Burrow (7), Brock Purdy (12)

RB--Saquon Barkley (2), Josh Jacobs (4), Rhamondre Stevenson (9), Gus Edwards (10), MarShawn Lloyd (14)

WR--AJ Brown (1), Mike Evans (3), DJ Moore (6), Stefon Diggs (8), Rome Odunze (11)

TE--Dalton Kincaid (5)

K--Ka'imi Fairbairn (15)

DST--DAL (13)

The interesting thing about this draft is nobody drafted BAL, MIA, NO, NYJ, or PIT DST. What?

Hmmm.

People going matchup heavy it seems.

Personally, I would drop Purdy and grab the Ravens.

10-12 team leagues will always have good streamer options for QB.

Ravens could be the top defense. Choosing matchups between 2 of the best gives you a pretty significant advantage

Well...should I attempt to pick up Isaiah Likely (9-111-1) and add to my TE collection?
Of course I have Mark Andrews (2-14). I wonder if this is a sign of things to come or an anomaly.
