I got that from an Ohio St. fan. originally. Maybe the guy wants Tressel gone? I have no idea, but I hope Tressel is still there when Nebraska plays them next year.

no harm on the info, just not a site I would use ;)

ya, beating Tressel would be great fun for our first year. :D

To be honest with you I wasn't "all over it" as you say, when our "healthy" QB was running "all over" Washington and K-State I was wishing my team would have a real identity that they could rely on when the going got tough, {UT, TAMU an OU come to mind} such as solid running plays like trap plays, fullback traps, and play action passes, to name a few.

How many times has Nebraska been able to drive for even a game winning FG since this weird offense has been endeared upon us? It's pretty much impossible to have a positive attitude when the offensive team isn't doing anything positive when they really need to.

We have possibly the greatest kicker EVER in college football, and yet in two out of the three losses our stinky offense couldn't drive just a few yards to get us within FG range... Pathetic, just pathetic.

Also, like I've said before, I've been a Nebraska fan since 1968, and I don't recall being this disappointed after any of those previous seasons. I'll still root for Nebraska in the toilet bowl and hope they can eek out a win.

My prediction with my rose colored glasses off... NU 27 Washington 24

C'mon zorbi, I know expectations are high for our huskers, but would you rather be in the Billy C days again. The reality is, we did not perform as well as we wished, but look at our record and know that we won these games without playing perfect or even near perfect. This should give you a sense of encouragement and hope as just think how good we can be once we get things fixed.

OK; so you can argue, will they get fixed with the talent and coaches we have?

No one knows the answer to this, but I love Bo and the direction he has put us in. Remember, Bo has not been a head coach very long and he is learning on the run, just as TO had too when he took over from Devaney!

Possibly you and the rest of us need to set (your/our) goals to a more realistic standard and know that Bo and team have the same desire you/we do, but not everything happens the way we would like!

The path that Bo is on right now is not so different then what TO had to endure when he first took over... let's just hope that he can get us to our pinnicle earlier then what it took TO to do! :D

Just My Opinion!

I'm not one of those people who think just because we beat a couple of mediocre teams, Washington and KSU for example that we were going to win a NC. My expectations aren't as high as you think, but a Big 12 Title was well within reach as you know.

We'll be extremely fortunate in the future to beat a really good to great team with the decision making like what we saw in the title game. I'm 100% convinced of this.

I guess I'll just have to prepare myself for a loss in games against really good to great teams, and if by chance we win one of those games, maybe I'll be even more elated. If a game is going down to the wire and we need a score in the last minute or so, I guess I have to hope for some kind of a miracle {a defensive back falling down!} from the offensive side of the ball.

To be honest with you, even though I predicted a win over OU, I knew the chances were VERY slim mainly because of piss poor play calling and poor decision making on offense mainly. I was 100% sure our defense would keep us in the game until the end.

After the season is over, I will go back and just look at the record of 11-3 or 10-4 and think how bad it was under Callahan. I'll do my very best to forget the "what-ifs" of the 2010 season!

Whoa Zorbi;

I did not say you should not be disappointed dude! I did not say you had to accept something less than perfect! I did not say that most of us have not had disappointment to some degree this season!

What I tried to relay in all my (just messing with you post)

was..

You seem find something wrong or not up to your standards in almost every post that you take part in!

It's not all that bad Zorbi!
:p
