Lmao why? He already plays on a team with a DH. They can still forego the DH in the games he pitches in. Pretty sure he can still stay in as a DH even after he leaves the game as a pitcher.
Again, if MLB fans want pitchers to hit, develop the guys doing both in the minors out of HS and college instead of giving 28 YO randos in AA PA’s as a DH.

Ive already said my piece on this a few times but pitchers aren't baseball players anymore. They're specialists. If DH keeps slightly washed up hitters in the league a few extra years then its good for the game.

Length of the game is still the biggest issue for keeping baseball relevant nationally imo.

I also support the draft lottery but Im not sure thats going to make a massive difference when it comes to tanking.

Nope. If a team places the pitcher in the lineup, they have no DH the entire game. Just like if the give the DH a glove and have him take the field, the team is forfeiting the DH for the remainder of the game.

I would like the draft to be abolished entirely in favor of a pool instead (similar to the international amateur FA market). Adjust the pool based on previous season record and allow teams to trade pool moneys. Maybe combine the regular amateur FA class and the international amateur FA class.

Since pitchers won't be batting anymore it's possible that part of it will change. We haven't seen the details.

True.

But I have not heard any rumors of changing it’s use.

I might be able to be pulled over to that side if they were to link the DH to the pitcher and vice versa. That would still involve strategy in its use.
