He's no where near as bad as he used to be. He has matured, believe it or not. As for youth, I'm all for it. But we do need some veterans on this team for leadership. On offense, Trent is it. Yeah, I know, RG3 is a captain, but he's still young and I'm talking about locker room leadership. Gracon could be, but he doesn't seem to have that personality. On Defense, we have cofield. If Rak is back, hell provide some and maybe even Kerrigan. In the secondary, Hall is it. Amerson and our young safeties need a veteran presence. I say bring Hall back for a 2 year deal that is a fair offer. He should be paid as a top 15 CB.

Even if he directly said it I don't see that as a negative.........In fact I agree with him. That does not change the fact that this team is in dire need of talented players. if they see him as a talent worth keeping a decide to not sign him because he has an opinion different than theirs, then I fully expect another 3-13 season based on stupidity.


It is beyond idiotic to become an emotional cripple because of your position on the ongoing and now pending ruling surrounding the name change. What this team needs is reasonable, rational, cold blooded decision makers and fans/supporters equally intelligent enough to know that when/if it happens it will be because the owner is monetarily compelled to do so.


That seems to be closer to reality than not, so the only question beyond that change will be support the team or not. If your loyalties go no further than what the team is called, then, goodbye, I wish you well wherever you take your support. For those of us staying with the team, because we support OUR team then let's go win some titles.

First, we are dealing with dan Snyder so you can't assume a rational reaction. Second, I bet virtually no fan abandons the team if Snyder decides to change the name. That's all talk. You are right, tho, Snyder will only change the name when monetarily compelled to do so. My bet that this will not happen anytime soon. If it ever does, it won't just affect the redskins, but also the chiefs, the braves, the fighting Irish, the packers, and a whole host of other teams. If taken to court, it's a pretty easy legal argument to make that the redskins have been singled out. I was talking to a patent atty friend about this statement issued by the patent office. He feels it's a joke and would never hold up in court.

And what ties are those? Allen was gone from Tampa before Talib got there. Or was it Allen that Talib punched out? Could have been since he got into multiple internal fights. Or maybe it was Allen that bailed him out of jail the multiple times he got arrested? Or maybe it was Allen that supplied him with the banned substance he took that got him suspended?

The issue that led to it being overturned in a prior court ruling has been eliminated. It had more to do with a technical faux pas related to the timing of the plaintiffs filing than its merits. That obstacle has now been removed.....AND....... this is important, the precedent set for a ruling against upholding the patent. Using the argument that the team is being "singled out" works exactly opposite than what the patent attorney told you. Many court and patent rulings set precedent for those that follow. Law relating to discrimination is ironically, exactly the type of precedent setting rulings that I speak of. To be clear, to claim that one is being "singled out" for being the first at doing something that violates moral, ethical or legal standards does not negate the violation.

We are indeed dealing with Dan Snyder, and for all of his team related shortcomings, NO-ONE has ever accused him of being foolish when the issue is profit, or threat to the same.
