New times are ahead for the SportsHoopla here. http://www.sportshoopla.com/forums/sports-forum-general-discussion/88548-sportshoopla-com-up-auction.html Ghost has the site up for auction, and a new admin will come in.


Before we all freak out about the end of SportsHoopla, I want to suggest an attitude of patience. We should at least give the new admin a chance to prove his/her worth, and hope for the best.


We've all been through a lot here on SportsHoopla, and we owe the site a chance to improve.



Speaking of improvements.. Our board has gone to shit in itself.. I'd give out a warning for more bans and deleted posts, but that's not how I like to moderate.. Please make a concentrated effort to keep posts and threads on topic, and relevant to whatever discussions are going on. That doesn't mean we can't shoot the shit, but try not to make the shit retarded.





What a game by the Huskers, we fought through 3 quarters and pissed it down our leg, but hey.. like we always say.. We'll get 'em next year..

What do you mean? I'm sure he joined when he heard ghost was selling to check it out to see if he wanted to buy it.......I thought the auction was going on for a bit before ghost announced it to the board to see if a board member would be interested......yeah, he could of lurked, but I'm pretty sure dude joined when he was considering buying it........

All of that's fine, but I don't really consider that being sold to a member.......from what the new owner commented on, I don't think it's going to be any big deal or much of a change.......probably some trinkets and more social media garbage, but not much more change than what ghost implemented before trying to sell......

hot chicks forum and pics I know will never come back because they interfere with the advertising things......that's why ghost got rid of them......they were perks of the site (pun intended) but I don't envision any mass exodus because we can't see boobies on our sports board. The site has enough of a base and growing to really be more.......the new guy didn't drop his coin so a bunch of drunk sports fans can look at chicks in bras and panties......

I got to oust the "outsider" that dominated both the Husker fantasy baseball and football league......You kicked ass all season long in baseball and we know how that went.....I beat Herky (Iowa) in the first round of the football league (that I won.........) after he also kicked our asses all season long.....he was undefeated, but lost the week prior to the playoffs where I beat him.....
