Gio had A real strong game wasnt to thrilled with the habs fans at the end of the game but.....Habs earned the win we didnt bury our chances best of luck with the playoffs comeds

Devils looked terrible tonight, the Habs fans completely took over that arena. Parise obviously looked out of it at the beginning, didn't look great at the end but got better as the game progressed. The Devils have clearly already made there tee times and are booking flights at this point.

Oh and Subban is a scumbag.

Got me. I watched the HNIC feed and didnt see anything or hear them say he was doing anything bad. Besides the ill advised spin pass that led to the breakaway and subsequent penalty shot.

Oh well, no big deal. I was just curious.

only real incident i remember was towards the beggining of the game he kind of took a ride on kovy.kovy shoved him and gave him a tap with his stick but like i said i'm not sure if thats what he meant.i know marty gane plekanec a good shove in the third.nothing got really out of hand though

That was no big deal, Marty thought Pleks took an extra whack and let him know. I dont blame him, and all in good fun.

Anyway nice second half, I am sure many teams are going to be happy that the Devils will not be in the playoffs. I sure wouldnt want to face them.

Did the Devils game feed mention any coordinated Canadiens fans trips or anything? There were a lot of Habs fans there. That would have bugged me too.

I'm the same way I am a firm believer of that kind of stuff biting you in the ass I prefer the humble approach.also don't think all hand fans are like that we all have our bad group within our fan bases.Was funny how kovy scored right after the chant started sure the devils won't forget it next year.

lol, it seems like that chant is often followed by a score.

I'm just not comfortable with it. Oh well. I am glad Kovalchuk turned his year around. My wife is a Thrashers fan and I watched him for years and do think he made an effort to be a more complete player a few years ago. I like him.

That was a frustration post more than anything, I don't hate the guy. But he has a lot of Sean Averyesque antics away from the play that you can see in person. Taking unnecessary shots at people on his way off the ice, he went knee to knee with somebody on the Devils at one point as he skated off. Scumbag was the wrong word, just not a fan of him.

The Habs fans really took that place over though. The 3000 or so were about ten times louder than the 13,000 or so we had. Makes me jealous.
