Pelini isn't his usual self. Instead of quickly answering each question with a scentence or half scentence he is taking time and elaborating and even talking so much that he gets off topic. He's taking 30 seconds to 2 minutes to answer each question

We could beat them by 1 point or 60 points.........we still play UCLA on national TV the week following, and everyone knows how we do in those types of games.

This is the jam unfortunately. Unless we hold them to like negative rush yds and under 100 yds passing, well even then it doesn't mean anything, southern miss won 4 less games last season than Wyoming, who turns out won a total of 4. If we can contain any dual threat qb at all I will start to sip some koolaid again, Hundly was a top 5 daul qb nationally HS, Ill reserve any season predictions when I see how that shakes out

That what makes me so scared about ucla

Wyo was like are pre test and we failed bad

We could put 70 on them and nobody outside our fan base will care or say anything

If you ask me there is two options

Option A
Blow them out and open the gates of hell on them

Pro media gets all happy kool aid drinkers rejoice player get lil confidence
Con: getting false confidence bc so. Miss is terrible

Option B
Use so Miss as a ucla practice game

Start using packages or working on things that will help against ucla
So. Miss both are spread teams not quite the same but it's worth a try to work on new packages or plays defense wise.
Only con would be a hard game to watch and maybe a less sexy score
But ill take 35-17 game and improve and get better prepared for ucla then win 52-10 and still have serious e doubts

Abdullah, Cross, Newby, Enunwa, Turner and Bell all had a great game. Even Martinez (in spite of his INT and Fumble) played well throwing 17-22 for 155 yds.

Watched the whole game in the BTN condensed version. I've seen every play a good 4 or 5 times now. Some 6 or 7. The amount of missed holding calls/block in the backs that weren't.ed is fu king astounding. On their last drive i think one was in the EZ and could have been called a safety. Seisay is soooooo bad. Please bench him. He's worse than green and that's saying something. He was in on like 6 horrible plays in a row at one point. They were just picking on him. Cooper and a lot of the newer guys are arm tackling too Much. Overall it wasn't as bad as it looked.
