Huge night for Marquette Iowa/Iowa State in terms of getting to Des Moines. Purdue and UK lose.

Kinda a joke how highly people think of Purdue.

They have some good wins in conference. But got fucking ass reamed non con and have 7 losses

That's true, but they've played a ridiculously hard schedule. It wouldn't surprise me if they won out. If they do I'd expect them to be on the 3 line.

Yeah if they win the rest of their games a 3 is probably reasonable at that point.

They’ve just gotten a lot of hype for being a quality team but not a great one.

Honestly it’s probably because Haarms is a complete fag with his hairdo and phony intensity...and Edwards has to dumbest earring in his ESPN pick.

I think they are a top 15 team. There are going to be alot of teams in the 3/4/5 range with a bunch of losses. It will certainly help marquette. Also, if Michigan does indeed lose to PSU, that might be enough to slip marquette ahead in the pecking order. Michigan can't match the wins Marquette has.

We really need Gtown to creep their ass up a couple more spots. Would be nice to vulture that Q1 win.

I’m not too worried about Marquette in terms of being respected. Saturday showed we are in a good spot if we win the reasonable amount of games.

The battle for Des Moines is what we really need help with tho lol.

Yeah, that's what I was meaning, getting Des Moines. Going into today they were behind Purdue/MSU/Michigan. After today, I think it's reasonable to suggest they are in front of Purdue and Michigan assuming a Michigan loss. Still don't think they are ahead of UK though. So it would be Duke, UVA, Tenn and UK taking up Columbia and Columbus and then Michigan State and Marquette in Des Moines. Michigan/Purdue probably off to Hartford.

Now looks like Michigan going down . The B10 is going to have 6 teams separated by 2 games

I wonder if we might get some Des Moines favortism if it’s really close.

Teams like Michigan, UK, Duke etc.. will draw like crazy anywhere.

If they wanna maximize revenue maybe they try and get us there since it’s such a nice spot for the fan base.

I know they say they don’t do that. But people in sports say a lot of shit.

Purdue could have had 1st place but they got waxed by Maryland.

I still think Michigan is the best team,, but not by a wide margin.

Yep, and MSU and Michigan still have to play twice. Even with the Purdue loss, I still think I'd favor them to win the regular season title.

I don't think it'd be the worst thing for the committee to send UK to Jacksonville if it's close between them and another team for Columbus, say a Michigan/MSU/Purdue. If they don't get Columbus, the difference between sending them to Jacksonville or Des Moines is like 20 minutes, and it's SEC territory, so they would probably prefer it with all the alumni in the Southeast.

Yep. There isn't much separation between the top 6 IMO, and they have by far the easiest remaining schedule. Wisconsin has an easy schedule, but they are already 2 games behind Purdue and lost h2h if it somehow came down to that.

That's how I feel about Iowa . I think if push comes to shove the Hawks may get the nod based on draw. Of course we've got more work to do than you guys do to get a top 4 seed . Also I thought Iowa St couldn't play in DM or am I just making that up in my head

Yeah the 3 easiest schedules are Purdue , Wisky and Iowa and Purdue is 2 up on both and beat both head to head . It'd be surprising if they don't get the top seed

Drake is the host school, so Iowa State is in play for Des Moines.

Yeah the only thing is they have 4 road games. They aren't against great competition in IU, Nebraska, Minnesota or NW, but I could see them stumbling against one of them, but stumbling twice would be a surprise. They should win their home games(PSU, Ill, and OSU) pretty easily IMO.

Well if they shoot it like they did on the second half tonight they're gonna be in trouble lol. That was some bad shit. Announcers kept calling it great D but it really wasn't . Just a bunch of missed layups , free throws and open 3s
