without an open date.

No doubt, the exception to play in week zero is important if you're going to play 13 games

That's why they allowed San Jose State and BYU to move their games

They also allowed Colorado State to but Colorado State opted against a 13th game which makes sense for them even with 2 bye weeks they could be looking at 15 games during the year

I agree with this 100%. I believe I've mentioned that in some other thread.

Wilson had IU going in the right direction. 2 straight bowl games in a row at
a school with only 10 in their total history.

Plus IU has 15 starters qnd their starting QB returning. Maybe the basketball
coach instigated the firing.
