I would say there are more "starters" on byes this week, than last week (also six teams), and definitely any other week. Some of you (hopefully most) have prepared for this ahead of time... but for those that have not, let's look at shallow (10-12 team) and deeper (14 team and up) league options...
With Peyton, Stafford and Kaepernick resting up...
QB: Jake Locker - go get him if he's available, he's quietly been very productive and has a 'generous' schedule.
QB: Nick Foles - poor Vick goes down again, and Foles looks primed to go again, at the Raiders isn't an easy task, but Foles has been better on the road in his short career, for whatever that's worth... and he wants it.
With Moreno, Reggie, Gore, MJD and the new little Ellington gathering steam....
RB: Mike Tolbert - the big fella seems to be more involved each week and has a porous Falcons defense on deck.
RB: Tashard Choice - Fred is one hit away every week, and with Spiller out, he should keep seeing an increased workload, and call me crazy, but I think the Bills upset the undefeated Chiefs at the Ralph. (and those of you who know me know I'm not a "crazy Bills fan")
Bye, bye Megatron, Fitz, Cruz (Nicks and Randle), Blackmon (Shorts), Boldin and if anyone took a chance on some Broncos' receivers....
WR: Jeremy Kerley - Geno has been good, bad, good, bad..etc... I see no reason to break the trend when they host the Saints, and Kerley is a big part of that.
WR: Rod Streater - only one week under 40 yards, and I think he's due for a TD at home against the Eagles.
Probably only talking Julius Thomas and Vernon Davis here...
TE: Dallas Clark - with Torrey getting Haden's attention (despite his 7 catches in week 2), I think Clark gets a few more looks than normal this week.
TE: Scott Chandler - okay, give me shit for having two Bills' on here, but there might be something in the air in Orchard Park.
I must be bored...
