You guys are doing great btw. Starting to pick up on the goofy system my league has...

OK. Week 8. Playing the overall leader & he will be hit hard with Byes. I lose Brandon Marshall but I think we can work with this since I have some great matchups this week. He won't be able to play Rivers, Woodhead, TRich, B. Pierce or TY Hilton... I suspect his lineup will look like this & I will match my guys up to where I'm wondering what to do.
HIM -------------- ME
Newton(A vs Bucs)---------Dalton (H vs Jets)
McFadden(H vs Pitt)--------Charles (H vs Cle)
Starks(A vs Minn)-----------Bell (A vs Oak)
Megatron(H vs Dal)---------AJ Green (H vs Jets)
T. Gonzo(A vs AZ)-----------Stevie Johnson(A vs NWE)
S. Smith(A vs TB)------------
J. Boykin(A vs Minn)--------
Gostkowski(H vs Mia)------M. Bryant (A vs AZ)
ATL(A vs AZ)-----------------49ers (A vs Jax)

OK... Here is what I have to work with to plug into those 2 spots
Hartline (A vs NWE) - Almost def a start in my eyes
Ellington (H vs ATL) - Still just not sure abt him
Ogbannaya (A vs KC) - Not likely
Ginn Jr (A vs TB) - Do I start in the hopes of voiding some of Cam's points
Heath (A vs Oak) - Will Pitt continue to grow the run game? Pitt struggles out there for some reason.

I'm gonna kinda sorta agree with Monkey.. but Heath is my given and the toss up being Hartline and Ellington. And with my RB mentality, Ellington would probably win that toss up in my mind

You gotta go with the mentality (other than Hartline) that the decision has to be based on the likelihood that any of those players will get a TD. Ellington has been targeted near the endzone & has scored in weeks past. I suppose Heath could put up some big #'s but he's been staying in to block in the run game a lot with recent success. Ginn is a wildcard... Deep play threat that could wipe out a Cam td if he grabs one.... Do I have enough of an advantage already to risk that move?

Got it narrowed down to 1 of these 3 players... Heath, Ellington, Ginn

Another thing to consider if your dead set on starting Hartline..if Aquib Talib plays for NE, you can safely bench Stevie Johnson, regardless of the BUFF QB situation. Than you'd probably have Hartline, Heath and Ellington.

^ Hadn't thought abt that

I should probably use Johnson as trade bait in my other thread.

Too bad TRich is on a bye, because otherwise he'd probably start him.

Mendenhall doubtful? Looks like you have to go with Ellington. And if you didn't go with Ginn already, I'll say pair Ellington up with Heath.

Didn't see that... Looks like I'll change it up. Originally called in
Dalton
Charles
Bell
Green
Johnson
Heath
Hartline

Now.... Who to take out of there.

Actually traded Ginn away see:other thread

With Mendenhall out. I'd go Hartline and Ellington.

I agree, richig....

I'm thinking

Dalton
Charles
Bell
Ellington
Green
Johnson
Hartline
M. Bryant
9ers

~ Pretty much have my mind made up that Stevie will be targeted a bunch & if Talib plays against Wallace, Hartline will be targeted a bunch too. Heath may score a TD, but the other recievers have potential for yards, catches & a td.

Can't argue with the logic here. I think you give yourself the best chance with that group.
