Probably, but damnit a man can dream. I could see us winning by 14+ if we can get consistent pressure on Jones and somehow contain that Williams cat from running all over the place. Kid is for real.

I'm not sure they can after this past weekend. I really do think ISU has a top 3 defense in the league(along with 2 of UT, KSU, and us) and we did okay against them aside from a couple of turnovers. I hear they have a weak front seven and the only thing that concerns me with our offense is Doege under pressure. Give him time and it is game over with that receiving core and Kenny Williams coming into his own.

I dont think their secondary can hang. I don't think their front 4 will generate enough pressure, like last year.

ISU probably has the best LB core in the conference, next to OU. This is how you beat OU, by forcing them to have to blitz their LBs. Take them out the middle of the field, and their CBs can't stop all your WRs.

Yeah the Gophers could have used Gray in that one. I like Shortell, but he can not throw down field. He had WR's open deep on two of his picks that would have been TD's, but the ball was way underthrown. Big let down for the defense also, no pass rush and not swarming to the ball like they had been the last three games. Pretty embarrassing, but more so because it was Iowa.
