RAMS defense and offense played well today. Great when both get it together. Ramsey was such a great pick up. He shuts down the no 1 receiver every game. How valuable is that ? Running game started to be good 2nd half and GOFF played very good. No turnovers. Which was huge because of the special teams turnover deep in our side. FIRST PLACE ! Rams own their own destiny. GO RAMS !

Goff, Henderson, Akers, the O (O-line blocking was great) and the D came -up big yesterday. Nice to see a big win at the right time as the SeaHags got embarrassed at home by the Geeants. Go figure. WE are now in a tie with Seattle for the division lead and if it ends in a tie, we get the tiebreaker on Seattle and take the division. WE also improved are seeding returning to number three in the NFC behind the Saints and GB instead of falling to 7th that a loss would have dictated.

I suppose Goff may have got it through his thick head that going out and staying out late before a game is just plain stupid. Maybe. He looked rested and was hitting all of his marks. He went 37/47 and 1 TD with no INTS and no fumbles which was excellent. His passes were crisp and on the mark, he wasn't over or under-throwing anyone, and when he had to run he did well. The roll-out and the stretch play-action are way better for Goff and it was obvious in the production. The calling-out by McVay was the right medicine for holding $100 million dollar boy to accountability like everyone else.

On D, AD had another great day as did our secondary and Troy Hill was awesome at the right time. We have def found the Littleton replacement in Troy Reeder who had a very good day. The dude is a stud and he should remain in the line-up for the remainder of the season.

Unfortunately, We still have a kicker that missed and easy FG and he needs to continue to get better because MacGinnis isn't the answer either. Dude needs to just get some confidence going forward as 50-yarders are in his repertoire.

Great win all-around and onward we go to meet Belicheat and the Patriots on Thursday night at So-Fi Stadium.

Watched the game tape of the cards game and when he wants to play good football, Goff is very capable of producing the performance he had on Sunday. The stretch roll-out off of play-action really suits him because he is a big guy who can run and he throws very well rolling-out and on the go. Not fast, mind you but he can motor. Goff also proved that he can do the sneak with power on that QB sneak play that resulted in a TD. I saw the Jumbo formation twice: Once on a run which resulted in a substantial gain by Henderson; The second was a pass play that resulted in a great throw by Goff on a roll-out to Everett for a nice gain.

Hill had another great INT that went for six and we should have never given-up the last TD by the Cards at the end of the game. I suppose people were tired and maybe just wanted the game to end. Hollins had a great game on the Edge and he is going to be a nice find like Reeder.

With the missed FG made and the D holding just a bit more at the end of the game, the score should have been 41-21 but I'll settle for the win that we earned.

Any win is a good win (unless you're trying to tank like the Jets) but against a divisional opponent is just a little bit sweeter. Hopefully they'll work out some of the kinks in the jumbo package to have plays from that formation ready to go in case Bill wants to run the 46 defense.

Apparently there is a low-level friction going on between McVay and Goff that the two are trying to downplay. Terry Bradshaw thinks the Rams should trade for Matthew Stafford (LOL). Seriously dude. Check out the link.

Johnson and Long laughed it off, because its laughable!! Goff has potential, Stafford is getting old!!
