Yep the timing is impeccable with Williamson. Bring him in as depth, and a week later he could be starting. Can you imagine the concern if they only had Spillane & UG3 left on the roster?Well, good thing we traded for an ILB then.
Still some of these might just be contact tracing and end up playing.
If there end up being significant players who have to sit out, the Steelers better demand a free bye week like the Titans got.
BUT.... even if he's never tests positive he won't be able to work with the team at all this week, correct?
Whosyourmama!Damn, right from the horses ass.
Correct. 2 negatives tests but still has to wait 5 days until he can officially return to the lockerroom. Which means Saturday at the earliest for all 4 guys.BUT.... even if he's never tests positive he won't be able to work with the team at all this week, correct?
Still better than deer and ducks.
I don't think the intern running their account knows what happened to the Bengals during that game after he did that. Big L!Whosyourmama!
Agreed on Ben. He should be more than ready for this game even without practice.Ben probably wasn't going to be practicing that much this week anyway.... The sore knees probably would have kept him working from the sideline. I can't imagine this impacts him much for Sunday. Assuming he progresses through the testing protocol within the prescribed window, I would expect he'll do what he normally does the Bengals - Win.
As for the Bengals... Burrow is terrific. He's kept a team with many holes in it competitive in every game... Sometimes while getting killed in the process. There was only one game where he looked overwhelmed and that was against Baltimore. If there is another team he'll struggle against this year, it is clearly Pittsburgh. If Pittsburgh dominates the Bengals overmatched offensive line, Burrow could have some problems.

Burrow... I'm curious to see what the D-Coordinator does against him. They went very conservative last week against Dallas and they got shredded. Once they finally got back to their aggressive style with more man coverage they took control. What scares us the most is not having Hilton in the lineup. Without him the Steelers deploy more OLB vs Slot WR coverage schemes which rarely turn out well. Burrow could easily exploit that, as well as the rest of the struggling secondary.
First home game in a while for the Steelers. I'm hoping they will start to show some sort of consistency that has been severely lacking in the previous 3 weeks.
Someone's gonna get a quick history lesson!I don't think the intern running their account knows what happened to the Bengals during that game after he did that. Big L!
