I sure hope we get some of the walking wounded back.
The ones we had 2 weeks ago or three guys from Burger King?
I'm hoping we can get the run game going somewhat this week. Take a little pressure off Cousins. Also, get VD the ball more. For some reason good things seem to happen when he touches it. If Long is ready, does he go back to Center or LG with the rookie remaining at Center?
Gruden does not stick to RG long enough to get going. We will run the ball just enough to let the opposition know we may run the ball here and there. That's about one out of 3 downs. Our Off runs through the TE's and CT. What was a little enlightening was the WR distribution was more broad in the Seattle game.
I agree with this assertion however, we have to find a way to get more than 50 yards out of the run game. Even if Cousins keeps a few zone reads or finds running room for himself. We need a guy (like Mack Brown) with more burst, better vision and some wiggle.66% pass is league standard these days.
Seattle, we ran 23 times for 50 yards.
Dallas, maybe we should have ran more but 3 YPC is tough.
It is hard to stick with the run when we average 3.2 YPC with our primary back. There is no threat of a running game even if we continually hand it off.
