Week 10 BCS Bowl Projections (Wisconsin, UCF, & Fresno St are IN!)

The BCS projections with Wisconsin are interesting. A lot stands in the way.

1. They need to win out. BYU will be the toughest test in doing so.
2. UCF, Fresno, and NIU can easily steal spots. Hopefully if Wisconsin beats BYU that boosts them over those teams, but it's unlikely.
3. Michigan State has looked very good, and should win out to the B1G title game. If they'd beat Ohio State UW would be out. Even if they lose they'd be a nice option likely BCS eligible.

Also need ND to lose, which will probably happen, since Stanford is on the schedule. If not no way Wisconsin is selected ahead of ND. And ND would obviously be way more deserving.

UCF wouldnt really be stealing a spot since they are in an AQ conference. IF Fresno or NIU finish ranked ahead of UCF then theyll get a spot for sure ( if they are in the top 16 that is). MSU is going to have to win the B10 to get a BCS game, they are not a good traveling fan base and they arent a great TV draw. They got bypassed a few years ago at 11-1 and a top 10 ranking.

If Wisconsin is in the top 14 theyll be a BCS team. Period. NO ONE has a better fan base than the Badgers ( and thats coming from an Iowa fan )

Wisconsin also plays good defense and runs the football. If a team can do that, they can usually guarantee that they won't get blown out which is something I would factor in if I was choosing a bowl team

Oregon won't be in the national championship now. Stanford was probably going to go to the rose bowl even with a loss. Oregon now becomes the most attractive at large team. FSU jumps up to title game, and the orange selects Clemson as the replacement then picks Oregon as the first at large. UCF and either Northern Illinois or Fresno St are automatic bids at this point. No more spots left.
