It was not an equal battle, so they definitely should have tried to steal the win rather than extend the game.

No its not 2 point conversion is just too low percentage of play ion that situation because the defense knows they can get away with a aweful lot, and the refs are probably not going to call in that situation so the percentages tell you to kick the extra point
