Keeping him out of practice was precautionary, it doesn't imply he'll miss the game this Sunday. Practicing would limit his bodies response to the infection and slow the healing process. Depending where the infection, and how it responds will determine if he suits up, but that'll be 2-3 days from now.

yes having good inside LB's helps 'cover up' some, but wouldn't go so far as "nothing to worry about"? if the NT is beaten back or can't hold his ground, the LB's can only do so much against a surge of linemen?

they'll still make tackles but it'll be further downfield.

Yeah, but RJF was going to be replacing Tukuafu in the backup role, so Dobbs still wouldn't have seen much action. Now, he's our first guy off the bench most likely.

Which would be great... Dobbs played very well in preseason, so as fan, i want to see what he can do against an average OL in TB... plus with his length, hopefully he can bat some balls down.

If he can't go Sunday I think it's okay. Similar to the Eagles, our nickle D will be on the field a lot against the Lions. That would give him 3 weeks off before the Browns.

prefer he gets healthy first anyway. playing at half strength not only asks for a poor performance, but also get him more injured.
