Yea.....but you can't stop on a guy's arm while he's laying on the ground after the play is over. Suh's a big guy......he could have busted his arm in half

It's illogical. He wasn't that way at Nebraska. Aggressive yes, but not dirty.

I understand the level of competition can be just that much more frustrating. He threw college 0-lineman around like ragdolls.

He should quit playing football! How did the entire league turn into a bunch of pussies over one punk getting his shit pushed in. If you want to cheap shot a guy like Suh then you better be ready for what comes with it. I think it's pretty funny.

I just read all of this thread and I am so glad to see a few smart people on this topic so I don't have to look like the sole guy defending Suh just to "play the other side".

Seriously!!!! Up until the arm stomp, I have not seen anything that Suh has done in 2 years that has been over the top. The personal foul penalties have been legit penalties but the dirty player tag is a joke. All those hits on guys like Cutler, Delhomme, Dalton, and others have been penalties but not dirty. Football is a fast paced physical game. It jut so happens that he ends up grabbing players high and when he brings them down it looks so much worse than it actually is because of that. Even today, up until he stomped on the guy's arm, I didn't see anything wrong. The 2 guys were tangled up and wouldn't let go. It just so happened that Suh was on top so he had the leverage.

I am not defending him because he is a Husker, I am defending him because he is a tough physical football player and that is what I like to watch.

Suh will never be able to make another play for the rest of his career without it being labeled as dirty and cheap.

O lineman have been given the green light to do whatever they need to do, and have done, to stop him without fear of a flag being thrown. Therein is the whole problem to begin with. He may as well actually be doing some dirty shit if he is to be persecuted for it anyway. Stroking a bitches arm with his foot that just cheap shotted his blind side is hardly worth the inevitable suspension that will indeed be levied

I have bolded the only thing that is important here.

That arm stomp was ridiculous. If Suh would own up to it and admit that he needs to cool it in situations like that, then we would all simmer down about it.

Instead he is going on national TV and saying "I was just falling off balance." It's not cute.........it's not funny. You don't intentionally stomp on a guy's arm when he's laying on the ground. That is what a coward does.

And by the way, I am a big Suh fan. In fact, I am the one who started the "Suh for Heisman" campaign back in the day. I love the guy.........but that was just worthless what he did in that game today.

I said it before the season started, the Lions have the dirtiest D-line in the NFL... by far.

Suh, Fairley -- POS

I think his reaction was worse than what he did on the field.

He told the coach it was "fuckin' bullshit" on his way out :L, then in the tunnel he made up this ridiculous story about how he was losing his balance :L, after the game he apologized to the fans "for being in a situation to allow the refs to remove me from the game" :L .

What a fuckin' tool.

And he sounds like a moron... sure Nebraska taught him to be somewhat articulate for a thug... if he had only learned what the words mean :L.

Piss off on your own board fuck face! Your ignorance of Nebraska football is going to impress about zero people here. Your so fucking cool coming over here and talking about shit you have no clue about douche. Because you post a lot on a message board doesn't mean shit to me faggot.

Suhs move there at the end was weak. If he wanted to hurt the dude you go for the neck, not a love tap playing footsie. Don't make it out to be more than it was. He shouldn't have done it, sure, but if this is the worst thing you have seen on a football field then I just don't what to fucking tell you. Man the fuck up.

Disney's done an excellent job of replaying the event, with the exception of what may have provoked the incident, they're just showing the two while on the ground.. Why not show the whole play so we can see if it was a retaliation.

I don't agree with the move either way. But I'd like to know if it was provoked or not.

The play was over when he hit Suh. Everyone is just standing there and he comes at him and blindsides him. It was a dirty hit and Suh reacted which is exactly what everyone wanted.

He should of waited until the next play and pancaked him but I can't say I would of done any different
