There's a few reasons that I'd like to have a short series:

1) Prevent injuries
2) Rest guys and have those that are nicked, heal up.

Otherwise, I'd rather come in like the Spurs where my team has their rhythm and get a few days off before the next series.

Golden St. doesn't look like they have their legs under them and are a couple gears lower than the Spurs. The Spurs are playing the best defense I've seen any team in the playoffs thus far.

I'm not even sure this is a rest issue. They only had 5 days off. This isn't a Cleveland situation where they're going to have a full 9 days off before game 1 on Wednesday.

What you guys fail to realize is that Mike Brown was the coach of the Lakers. GS can not beat a team being coached by Mike Brown going against what many consider the greatest coach of all time and one of the winningest. GS better start chucking up 3's.
