yeah, i try not to think a helluva lot about it as well. she's been gone since '85 from pancreatic cancer. but days like this and her birthday(a day before my own incidentally) kinda bring it back in my mug...

The phrase "time heals all" is bullshit, you never heal completely, you just have to try and drowned out the depressing thoughts and fill them with the good ones you shared thru the times, that's the only way it becomes easier.

Maybe they were going to lose, but it wasn't game 7 so they play another day. Injuring a guy to win 1 game though is a bit of a reach. Especially when you're the best team in the league. That's just my opinion...and obviously we don't agree on this one.

In the situation you mention most of us argued it changed the momentum of the game. Today was just game 1 for both, therefore no desperation on either side.

I think it was dirty, It changed the outlook of game one.

But just like last years finals, Draymond being out changed the outlook of game 5, it doesn't change the outlook of the series, many more games to play.

I wouldn't say lebron is the king of stacking. He just wanted eqivalent talent. In order to beat lebron considering he is the best player in the nba the other teams have to be doubly as stacked.

Think about it most of the teams he has played in the finals have been favored. That means he always has lesser teammates. If he had = teammates his team would be favored because he is the best player on the court.

Somebody told me after she died, "I know what you are gong through. I understand." So naturally, I said, "Oh, which one of your parents died?" Awkward silence ensued. I said, "Chooe your words wisely. You can say I'm sorry or my condolences are with you but saying you understand what I'm going through is not totally accurate. I understand talking about death is awkward, just choose your words more wisely."

My intent wasn't to be an asshole (even if it seems like I came across as one) but I was just passing along some wisdom imo. Like I told the person, I get that talking about death is awkward but don't just say something to say something.

It's hard to like the warriors. I know people will give me negative ratings, but here goes. I really don't get why a team with a bunch of pretty boys who shoot 3s all game gets so much hype.

All curry does is shoot 3's, although he is very very good at them. Thompson has the word "douchebag" written all over his face, he just seems like the kind of guy who laughs at people for being poor or sick while he drives off in his luxury car. Draymond green is a jack ass who spends more time yelling at the ref than playing the damn game, and Kevin Durant is a talented player who sold out for a ring. He couldn't handle the pressure and responsibility of being the main guy in Oklahoma. He destroyed what they were building there to be the #4 guy in Oakland. Pachulia is just a waste of space in general. I'm pulling for the Cavs now. The Spurs will probably get swept unceremoniously and we will all be subjected to articles about the warriors greatness. I'm not saying we would've won the series, but I can't help but wonder how things would've gone with a healthy Tony Parker and Leonard. I'd say a 6 or 7 game series for sure.

Three of the Warriors top 4 players were drafted.

The fact that LeBron had to join someone else's Team, and not the other way around, makes him no better than Durant.

Both took the easier road.

You weren't here for me 2 weeks ago, 1 week ago, 5 years ago, I don't need nor do I want you now.

Everyone handles death differently, when my brother died, my dad made sure I know that.

Because I was in a state of shock, not happy, not sad, not depressed, just kind of like wtf?

And made sure I knew that no matter how I handled the situation, it was the way I needed to handle it and wasn't anyones business.
