it will be interesting to see if Dalton can get the monkey off his back and turn in a good playoff performance. Thus far, he hasn't exactly stepped up in january. if he does this time around, the bengals could do some damage. they are pretty damn good when Dalton is 'on'.

Working in his favor is that his QB counterpart is the Tony Romo of the AFC.

Until last season the Packers were on a 13-1 streak vs. the Niners. That's a .929 winning percentage. So no, the Niners do not "always beat the Packers."

i'm sure what he was referring to is the last 16 months, in which the packers have already played the niners 3 times. this game will be their 4th match-up in such a short period of time, which is strange in and of itself for teams that are not in the same division. Over the 3 games already played, the niners have pretty much pwned the packers. that cannot be denied. the packers are going to have to prove everyone wrong because everyone is assuming the niners are going to make it 4 for 4.

Crazy, but I have all 4 road teams:

Chiefs are a much more complete team than Colts and Reid will have them ready.

Saints and Brees will outscore Philly.

Chargers will shock the world and beat Cincy.

49ers D will hold Rogers in check.

Eagles

9ers

And between 2 teams I cant stand I go out on a limb:
First qb w 4 int wins, lmao.

Rivers has thrown 4 INTs once in 140 games. He's thrown 3 or more only 3 times in 140 games.

Dalton has thrown 4 INTs once in 50 games. He's thrown 3 or more 6 times in 50 games.

Odds are you won't see that, but I'd guess you have to go with the Bolts if that's your call.

Could beating Cincy really ever be considered "shocking the world"?

Dalton's 4 INT game was in a 34-17 win. The Bengals have scored over 200 points in their last 5 home games and have won all 8 home games by an average of 17 points.

Chiefs, Eagles, Bengals, Niners.

I like the Colts, but I just don't think they have enough yet. The Chiefs play a great game, and beat the Colts by 10.

The Eagles are at home with 2 of the hottest players in the NFL right now. Foles and McCoy. Its hard to pick against them here.

Rivers will give everything, but in the end, the Bengals are just better and more balanced overall.

The Niners defense will counter the Packers offense pretty nicely and Kaep will have a good game having all of his weapons around him at his disposal.

This AFC weekend is funny because all 4 teams are pretty inconsistent. Any can look as good as any team in football one week, then look like the Raiders the next. Cincy is the most complete, but KC, SD, and Indy have all looked like SB champs a handful of times this year.

All 4 NFC teams are very solid teams and these should be two very tight match-ups. The SF secondary and lack of pass rush as of late makes me nervous against AR. The good news is we stop the run well and GB has relied on that much more this year then years past. I think SF will put up around 30 to 33 points. The question is, can Rodgers put up 35?

I hope so but Ryan and Palmer torched us the last two games. Sure they are good QB's, but not on the level of Rodgers.

The 9ers pass rush has been an issue. It is not the same as it was last season. I think the 9ers will be able to beat the Pack. Hoping that the Saints will take Philly and we end up with the Panthers for the next game. Final game at NO when they beat the Hawks......when I wake up this would be great!!

We all have our dream scenarios. Mine would be winning Sunday over SD, then pulling an incredible upset at Foxboro. Meanwhile the winner of the Indy/KC game goes to Denver and pulls an equally incredible upset. Then we have an AFCCG home game.

I'm sure I'll wake up soon.
