Cobb (11-3) vs Salazar (2-3)

Is Salazar the right move here?? It will be a tough one, this puts a lot of pressure on the young kid, how will he respond?

I'll be pulling for you in the WC game.

A Francona-Farrell ACS would be very nearly a no-lose proposition for this Red Sox fan.

Congrats Cleveland and good luck tonight.

It would be cool if STL and Cleveland could face each other in the WS.

Is Z-Mac going to be in the rotation? Just curious since he grew up in my area.

C'mon, Cleveland! It's getting late!

Not TOO late, but all too close.

It will be a tough comeback to overcome. Had chances earlier but Cobb made some pitches and Rays D is as good as it gets

Sorry to see the Indians fall short. I was pulling for you guys. You've had a great Season.

I was really surprised to see Francona go with Salazar. I think that decision will haunt some Indians' fans for quite some time. It's certainly not unprecedented for an inexperienced pitcher to start a playoff game, but I just don't think Salazar was the right choice.

Any way. Don't hang your heads. You have a good thing going on in Cleveland and I expect the Indians will be right there next season, also.

Thanks for the good wishes guys. Much appreciated. Sure was a letdown. Bringing in the 9 LOB would have won the game, but there was a lot of choking involved. Everybody swinging for the fences when small ball might have worked a lot better

Well its ancient history now & gives them time to rethink strategies for next year
