I don't know why, but I envisioned Mo and Ciante at the corner spots and SJB at the nickel...

SJB would be a disaster at nickel... he's not fluid enough. Ciante could play corner but he's so good at nickel I doubt he moves to the outside with the talent we have there.

also, i know the coaches love mitchel, but with his size and the fact that our corners are going to have to do a lot of tackling I think the bigger corners start. And jonathan rose is legit.

I don't know about you all, but we had a damn good offense last year too. They should be even better this year. We won a few games coming from behind in the last minute(s) of the game, which we could easily have lost. I think our defense has to improve dramatically or it'll be a ditto season from last year. This notion of outscoring opponents instead of preventing them from scoring doesn't sit so well in my book. I would rather see us winning 31-3 or 27-14 instead of 40-39 or 55-42. If we give up points like that, we will have games where the offense may not save us. We're in for a roller coaster season if the inefficiency on defense doesn't get fixed.

I agree

And that why next year is going to be crazy because if you don't have a reliable or good defense your essential telling your offense you need to score almost every possession. Basically were going back to 08 days off all offense and weak defense.
Our offense is gonna be great but I don't want them to feel they have to score every possession that unreasonable it would be awesome but not realistic. My hope is the staff makes it easier scheme wise for the young pups and hope all 11-19 players in rotation are on the same page. Make it simple and let them attack and make plays
