Watching the Worst Game of 2011

One would argue that this was the worst game of the year, but the Giants were still involved in one of the worst games to watch in MLB last year, according to Baseball Prospectus.

May 25 was the worst game, followed distantly by game 5 of the WS. Both for completely different reasons.

How that game was being called "one of the greatest games ever" was an insult to every baseball fan in the country.

Now for you, game 5 2010 and game 7 2011 are probably tied for the worst games EVER. Kind of how we here view game 6 2002.

The 2010 Series win took much of the pain away....but I still feel that sick feeling in my stomach when mention of that 2002 Game 6 comes up..

Repd. I'd rep this twice if I could. One of the worst displays of "pitching" I've ever seen in a WS. Just simply fucking awful.

I was referring to g6 2011. I later brought up g6 2002 as an all-time bad game.

Game 6 was a heart breaker - but I had to go back and look at some of the other games. I had rememberance of another not so pleasant game .... it was game 2. We gave up 5 in the first. Was down 7-4 in the second. Actually went up 9-7 late in the game and the pen melted down in that one as well. Again it was Felix in the 8th. We lost that opne 11-10

I remember that Game 2. Giants had a great rally and went ahead. I thought they would hold onto it, but alas, the bullpen gave it up. Could've taken a commanding 2-0 series lead heading back to the Bay.
